“जिला भाजपा अध्यक्ष रहे योगराज शर्मा के स्वास्थ्य कारणों से हटने के बाद पंचायत चुनावों से ऐन पहले डीएस ठाकुर की अध्यक्ष पद पर नियुक्ति संगठन के लिए खास फायदेमंद नहीं रही। कम से कम उनके अपने विधानसभा क्षेत्र बनीखेत में पार्टी बुरी तरह कलह की शिकार है। यहां यह कहना भी गलत नहीं होगा बर्चस्व की आपसी लड़ाई यहां डलहौजी के नगर परिषद चुनावों में भाजपा पर भारी पड़ रही है तथा डीएस ठाकुर की नियुक्ति से यहां पार्टी को लाभ मिलने की बजाए अंदरुनी कलह को हवा मिली है। आलम यह कि ठाकुर डलहौजी मे डट कर यहां धुर विरोधी भाजपा गुट के खिलाफ जंग छेड़े हुए है।”

नगर परिषद डलहौजी में भाजपा गुटबाजी का शिकार है। ज़ाहिर है यहां इसका सीधा फायदा कांग्रेस को मिलना तय है। तेज तर्रार तथा दिग्गज कांग्रेसी नेत्री तथा विधायक आशा कुमारी जिस अंदाज में पार्टी प्रत्याशियों की जीत को जुटी हैं उससे तो यह लगभग साफ है कि विधायक इसका पूरा लाभ लेंगी।
आलम यह कि भाजपा का एक धड़ा जहां अपने प्रत्याशियों को भाजपाई बता रहा है तो वहीं अब यहां भाजपा ने गत रोज प्रैस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर भाजपा के अधिकृत प्रत्याशियों की सूची सार्वजनिक की। डलहौजी नगर परिषद के भाजपा चुनाव प्रभारी अमन महेंद्रू ने यहां साफ किया कि पार्टी प्रदेशाध्यक्ष सुरेश कश्यप की ओर से फाइनल की गई सूची के तहत ही भाजपा ने प्रत्याशी उतारे हैं तथा पार्टी इन 9 प्रत्याशियों की जीत को पुख्ता करने में जुटी है। उन्होंने बताया कि नगर परिषद डलहौजी के वार्ड नंबर 1 से लता देवी , वार्ड नंबर 2 से अजय चौहान, वार्ड नंबर 3 से रेणु देवी, वार्ड नंबर 4 से रेणु पठानिया, वार्ड नंबर 5 से संजीव पठानिया, वार्ड नंबर 6 से रानी शर्मा, वार्ड नंबर 7 से शिवानी शर्मा, वार्ड नंबर 8 से श्वेता महाजन तथा वार्ड नंबर 9 से संजय कुमार बतौर भाजपा अधिकृत प्रत्याशी चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं।
बताते चलें कि इससे पहले डलहौजी नगर परिषद के अध्यक्ष रहे मनोज चड्डा की ओर से भाजपा समर्थित 9 उम्मीदवारों को नगर परिषद चुनावों में खड़ा किया है। लिहाज़ा यहां असमंजस यह है कि भाजपा का प्रत्याशी किसे माना जाए।

एक ओर जहां प्रदेश भाजपा हाईकमान की और से अंतिम की गई सूची है तो दूसरी ओर डलहौजी नगर परिषद के पूर्व अध्यक्ष के प्रत्याशी हैं।
उधर इस संदर्भ में जब डलहौजी नप चुनाव के भाजपा प्रभारी अमन महेंद्रू से बात की गई तो उन्होंने बताया कि पार्टी हाईकमान से फाइनल हुई सूची में शामिल लोगों को हो चुनाव में प्रत्याशी बनाया गया है। उधर j। इस संदर्भ में नप डलहौजी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष तथा राज्य योजना आयोग के सदस्य मनोज चड्ढा ने इस बारे में प्रचार में व्यस्त होने के चलते इसकी अभी कोई जानकारी न होने के चलते टिप्पणी से इंकार किया।
