जिला के उपमंडल सलूणी की ग्राम पंचायत भड़ेला के गांव भड़ेला में एक मकान में आग लगने से मकान जल गया। अंदर सो रहे 3 लोग और बंधे हुए मवेशी बाल- बाल बच पाए। वीरवार देर रात करीब 12 बजे देवकी पत्नी डिन्हू निवासी गांव भड़ेला के घर में अचानक आग लग गई। घर के जिस तरफ आग लगी उस तरफ मवेशी बंधे हुए थे जबकि दूसरे कमरे में देवकी, उसकी बहु ओर बेटा सो रहा था। आग लगने की भनक लगते ही सभी खड़े उठे और आग बुझाने में जुट गए। काफी मशक्त के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया।
आग की वजह से मकान के एक कमरे की छत क्षति ग्रस्त हो गई है। लकड़ी के बाहर के हिस्से के अवशेष नीचे गिर गए हैं और घर के एक हिस्से की छत के गिरने का खतरा बन गया है। लकड़ी की कडिय़ां काफी अंदर तक आग की चपेट में आ गई हैं।
पंचायत प्रधान लीला देवी ने बताया कि आग लगने की घटना की सूचना मिलते ही ही उन्होंने शुक्रवार सुबह मौके का दौरा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि देवकी एक गरीब परिवार से संबंध रखती है। प्रशासन से प्रभावित परिवार को आर्थिक मदद देने की अपील की है।
तहसील दार सलूणी बालकृष्ण का कहना है कि घटना की सूचना मिलते ही सबंधित पटवारी को मौके पर जाकर नुकसान के आकलन की रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के निर्देश जारी कर दिए गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रभावित परिवार को जल्द ही आर्थिक मदद दे दी जाएगी।
