जिला में कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते एक और व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई है। जानकारी के अनुसार सरोल निवासी 63 वर्षीय व्यक्ति की मौत हुई है। उक्त व्यक्ति को 12 दिसंबर को मेडिकल कॉलेज टांडा रैफर किया गया था । वही कल इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। जानकारी के अनुसार सिर पर 10 साल पहले गहरी चोट लगे होने के साथ उक्त व्यक्ति विभिन्न गंभीर बीमारियों से भी ग्रसित था। जिले में अब तक 46 मौतें संक्रमण से हो चुकी हैं। उक्त व्यक्ति के संक्रमित पाए जाने के बाद जिला कॉविड अस्पताल चंबा में बीमारी की हालत में भर्ती करवाया गया था। उक्त व्यक्ति को जहां 10 साल पहले सिर में गहरी चोट लगी थी तो वहां उसे गम्भीर निमोनिया भी था। इसके चलते आ रही दिक्कत के चलते उसे 12 दिसंबर को टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज रैफर किया गया था। सांस लेने में दिक्कत जैसे हालातों में उपचार के दौरान उक्त व्यक्ति ने कल रात 8.30 बजे दम तोड़ दिया। इसके अलावा वीरवार को 52 कोरोना मरीज एकसाथ ठीक भी हुए हैं। इसके बाद अब जिले का रिकवरी रेट 89.5 फीसद हो गया है। सी.एम.ओ. डॉ. राजेश गुलेरी ने पुष्टि की है।
