जिला में सुबह 7.38 के समय भूकम्प के झटके महसूस किए गए। इस भूकम्प में किसी प्रकार का नुक्सान होने की अभी कोई सूचना जिले से नहीं है। जिला मुख्यालय समेत अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी भूकम्प का झटका महसूस किया गया। बता दें कि इससे पहले भी इस साल भूकम्प से जिले की धरती कांप चुकी है। गनीमत यह कि भूकम्प से कोई क्षति नहीं हुई ह

असम के नागोयान में इसका केंद्र रहा। भूकंप की तीव्रता रिएक्टर पैमाने पर 3.0 माँपी गयी। यहां लोगों ने झटकों को महसूस तो किया लेकिन झटके तेज न होने के चलते फ़िलहाल किसी तरह के नुकसान की जानकारी नहीं मिल रही है।
दरअसल, इस साल कोरोना के संकट के बीच प्राकृतिक आपदाओं ने भी भारत को परेशानी में डाला। भूकंप से लोग सहम गए। भूकंप की स्थिति तो ये है कि देश के अलग अलग क्षेत्रों में लगातार भूकंप के झटकों को महसूस किया जा रहा है। वहीं इसमें जम्मू कश्मीर तथा हिमाचल की स्थिति भी चिंताजनक है, यहां अब तक कई बार पहाड़ों में कम्पन को महसूस किया गया है।
