जिला के जनजातीय क्षेत्र भरमौर में चुनाव चिह्न आवंटित होने से दो दिन पहले ही गांव में पोस्टर लगाने का मामला सामने आया है। पंचायती राज चुनाव के प्रत्याशी को ताला-चाबी चुनाव चिह्न ही मिला है, जिसके पोस्टर उसने पहले ही लगा दिए थे। इससे आशंका है कि चुनाव चिह्न की सूचना कहीं से लीक हुई है। 
भरमौर क्षेत्र के एक प्रत्याशी ने चुनाव चिह्न आवंटित होने से पहले ही ताला-चाबी निशान के पोस्टर छपवाकर गांव में लगाने शुरू कर दिए थे। इसकी ऑनलाइन शिकायत राज्य चुनाव आयोग और जिलाधीश चंबा के पास पहुंची। जांच का जिम्मा एडीएम चंबा ने बीडीओ भरमौर को दिया। प्रत्याशी को नोटिस जारी कर स्थिति स्पष्ट करने को कहा गया। ऐसे में अब प्रत्याशी को चुनाव चिह्न भी ताला चाबी ही मिला है। प्रत्याशी को नोटिस जारी किया गया। प्रत्याशी ने लिखित में माफी मांगी है। बताया कि वर्णमाला के पहले अक्षर के तहत अंदाजा लगाते हुए ही उसने चुनाव चिह्न वाले पोस्टर छपवाए थे। रिपोर्ट चुनाव आयोग को भेज दी गई है। राज्य चुनाव आयोग के सचिव सुरजीत सिंह ने कहा कि शिकायत आने के बाद चेतावनी दे दी गई है।
