जिला स्तरीय बाल विज्ञान प्रतियोगिता में हिमालयन सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल चुवाड़ी के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया। जूनियर, सीनियर तथा सीनियर सेकेंडरी क्विज में स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर स्कूल के साथ क्षेत्र का नाम भी चमकाया। जूनियर क्विज में विद्यालय की छात्राओं तानीषा और कनिष्ठा ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। सीनियर बाल विज्ञान प्रतियोगिता में कर्ण और अवनिधर ने जिला स्तर पर प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया। सीनियर सेकेंडरी बाल विज्ञान प्रतियोगिता में हिमालयन स्कूल के आयुष और भावुक ने जिला स्तर पर प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया। इन तीनों वर्गों के विजेता रहे हिमालयन के विद्यार्थी अब जिला स्तरीय के बाद राज्य स्तर पर होने वाली बाल विज्ञान प्रतियोगिता में जिले का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। इसी विद्यालय के छात्रों ने जूनियर एक्टिविटी और प्रोजेक्ट एक्टिविटी में भी प्रथम स्थान स्थान हासिल कर विद्यालय का नाम रोशन किया। जूनियर एक्टिविटी में शौर्य ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया तो वहीं प्रोजेक्ट एक्टिविटी में ओसीन तथा इरफान ने पहला स्थान पाया। सभी विद्यार्थी अब जिला चंबा का राज्य स्तर पर प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगे। दूसरी ओर विद्यालय के छात्रों ने गणित प्रतियोगिता में तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया विद्यालय की तरफ से प्रतियोगिता में शामिल हुए अथर्व और हर्षिता ने गणित प्रतियोगिता में तीसरा स्थान पाया। विद्यालय के चेयरमैन दिनेश शर्मा तथा प्रिंसिपल वंदना शर्मा ने सभी चयनित छात्र-छात्राओं, विज्ञान अध्यापकों तथा विद्यार्थियों के अभिभावकों को इस सफलता पर बधाई दी है। उन्होंने सभी विद्यार्थियों को राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में इससे बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि सभी विद्यार्थी राज्य स्तर पर भी अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करें ताकि हिमालयन स्कूल हमेशा की तरह अव्वल बना रहे।
