सूबे में शहरी निकाय चुनाव के लिए कुल 1521 प्रत्याशियों ने ताल ठोकी है। सोमवार को कुल 689 नामंकन पत्र दाखिल किए हैं। जिलों से आए आंकड़ों के अनुसार सोमवार को मंडी में 87 और अब तक कुल 180 उम्मीदवारों ने नामांकन दाखिल किए हैं। इसमें 83 महिलाएं और 97 पुरुष शामिल हैं। सिरमौर में सोमवार को 15 और कुल 94, हमीरपुर में सोमवार को 62 और कुल 136, बिलासपुर में 41 और कुल 88 उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं।
ऊना जिले के छह शहरी निकायों के 50 वार्डों में कुल 197 उम्मीदवारों ने नामांकन पत्र भरे हैं। पहले दिन 16, दूसरे दिन 96 और तीसरे दिन 85 लोगों ने नामांकन पत्र भरा है। कुल्लू जिले में अंतिम दिन 50 लोगों ने नामांकन भरे। नगर निकाय चुनावों के लिए अब तक 109 प्रत्याशियों ने दावेदारी जताई है। शिमला में सोमवार को 135 और कुल 171 नामांकन दाखिल हुए। सोलन में सोमवार को 45 और कुल 145, चंबा में 63 और कुल 137 नामांकन दाखिल हुए हैं। कांगड़ा में सोमवार को 141 जबकि कुल 264 नामांकन आए।
