रात को हुई बारिश तथा बर्फबारी के चलते जिला ठंड की चपेट में है जिला के भरमौर, तीसा, सलूणी, पांगी, जोत तथा डलहौजी आदि क्षेत्रों में बर्फ गिरी है।

इसके चलते जिले में चांदी की चादर बिछ गई है। बर्फ के श्रृंगार से कुदरत की खूबसूरती मनमोहक नजर आ रही है।

कबायली क्षेत्र भरमौर तथा पांगी में कड़ाके की ठंड हो गई है।

जोत

इसके अलावा चुराह, चुवाड़ी जोत, डलहौजी तथा सलूणी आदि क्षेत्रों में भी बर्फ गिरी है।

सलूणी


सुबह खिली धूप ने कुछ राहत जरूर दी है। कबायली घाटी पांगी में गत रात करीब 6 इंच हिमपात हुआ है।इसके चलते घाटी कड़ाके की ठंड की चपेट में है।

सलूणी

बताते चलें कि जिले के ऊपरी क्षेत्रों में बर्फबारी के चलते जीवन ठहर सा जाता है।

भरमौर

हिमपात के चलते होने वाली मुश्किलों के चलते ही यहां की बड़ी आबादी निचले जिलों में स्थित अपने घरों को पलायन कर जाती है। बीमार होने की स्थिति हो या कोई और आपातकाल स्थिति, यहां मुश्किल लोगों को घेर लेती हैं। इसके लिए यहां के लोगों के लिए पलायन मज़बूरी बन जाता है।

पांगी

बिजली तथा संचार सुविधाएं गुल हो जाती हैं तथा पानी की पाइपें तक जाम हो जाती हैं। भले ही देखने में बर्फ मनमोहक लगती हो

जोत

लेकिन हिमपात के चलते यहां जिंदगी ठहर सी जाती है।

जंगल को लौटता भालुओं का परिवार

उधर जिला चंबा के सिंगी क्षेत्र में कल सुबह तीन भालू देखे गए हैं। जैसे ही ग्रामीणों को गांव की तरफ आते हुए देखा। हालांकि लोगों के शोर मचाने के चलते यह तीनों भालुओं का झुंड जंगल की ओर निकल गया। इसके चलते लोग सहमे हुए हैं तथा वन विभाग से इस दिशा में सुरक्षात्मक कदम उठाने की गुहार लगाई है। बताते चलें कि ऊपरी क्षेत्रों में कई लोग भालुओं के हमलों के शिकार होते हैं।
