राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला होबार के छात्र अजय शर्मा तथा अभिनव ठाकुर ने बाल विज्ञान प्रतियोगिता के जूनियर वर्ग में जिला भर में दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया।
सीनियर वर्ग में तमन्ना तथा शिवानी ने भटियात खंड में दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। अपनी कड़ी मेहनत से पाई उपलब्धि से पाठशाला का नाम रोशन करने को लेकर स्कूल के प्रधानाचार्य संजीव सूद ने दोनों विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि स्कूल के दूसरे बच्चों को भी प्रेरणा लेते हुए कठोर परिश्रम करना चाहिए। उन्होंने इस मौके पर कड़ी मेहनत करने तथा इस उपलब्धि का श्रेय बच्चों तथा विज्ञान अध्यापिका संगीता गुप्ता को दिया। इस मौके पर एसएमसी प्रधान नीलम शर्मा ने भी इस उपलब्धि पर बच्चों की पीठ थपथपाई
