जिला के सलूणी क्षेत्र में एक व्यक्ति के कुल्हाड़ी से 2 महिलाओं को गंभीर घायल करने का मामला सामने आया है। घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद आरोपी जंगल की ओर फरार हो गया है। हालांकि आरोपी ने कुल 6 लोगों को कुल्हाड़ी से हमला कर जख्मी किया है। घटना पुलिस थाना किहार के तहत सनूह पंचायत के कैंथली गांव की बताई जा रही है। 2 महिलाओं को उपचार के लिए मेडिकल कॉलेज चंबा रैफर किया गया है। जानकारी के अनुसार करीब 30 वर्षीय मानसिक परेशान बताए जा रहे युवक ने शाम करीब 5 बजे 2 महिलाओं रीता तथा गीता पर अचानक कुल्हाड़ी से हमला कर दिया। इन महिलाओं के चीखने चिल्लाने पर बीच बचाव में आए आरोपी युवक के पिता तथा परिजनों समेत अन्य लोगों पर भी आरोपी ने हमला कर दिया। जिसमें 4 लोग घायल हो गए। दो महिलाओं रतो तथा गीता नामक महिलाओं को सिर पर लगी चोट के चलते मेडिकल कॉलेज चंबा रेफर कर दिया गया है जबकि अन्य घायलों का उपचार जारी है। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच मामले की जांच में जुट गई है। आरोपी की पहचान 30 वर्षीय पान चंद के रूप में हुई है तथा उक्त आरोपी घटना के बाद फरार हो गया है। डीएसपी सलूणी शेर सिंह ने मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी हुई है।
