पर्यटन स्थल खज्जियार में आज बर्फ के बीच सैकड़ों की तादाद में सैलानी अठखेलियां करते नजर आए। बताते चलें कि नया साल मनाने के लिए यहां हर साल काफी संख्या में सैलानी उमड़ते हैं आज दिन भर सैलानी बर्फ में खेलते तथा कुदरती नजारों का आनंद लेते नजर आए कोरोना के कारण मंदी की मार झेल रहे खजियार के पर्यटन कारोबार को भी इस मौके पर पंख लगे नजर आए। इस दौरान जो सबसे बड़ी राहत सैलानियों तथा स्थानीय लोगों को मिली वह जाम की स्थिति से छुटकारा मिला है।

यहां कई घंटों तक जाम लगने के कारण सैलानियों तथा स्थानीय लोगों को परेशान होना पड़ता है वहीं पुलिस ने मुस्तैदी से नव वर्ष संध्या को लेकर की गई तैयारियों के साथ जाम जैसी समस्या पैदा ही नहीं होने दी इससे लोगों को काफी राहत मिली एक और जहां सैलानी पूरे जोश के साथ नया साल मनाने को तैयार हैं तो वही पुलिस कड़ाके की ठंड के बावजूद अपनी ड्यूटी निभाने में लगी है इस दौरान पुलिस ने बिना मास्क घूम रही सैलानियों के चालान भी काटे।

बताते चलें कि खजियार क्षेत्र के लोग अपनी आजीविका के लिए प्रयत्न कारोबार पर ही आश्रित हैं सैकड़ों घोड़े वाले, फोटोग्राफर, छोटा-मोटा खाने पीने का सामान बेचने वाले, दुकानदार तथा होटल कारोबारियों समेत कई लोग पर्यटन कारोबार पर ही निर्भर हैं। वहीं कोरोना वायरस के चलते चौपट पड़े यहां के पर्यटन कारोबार को नव वर्ष तथा हिमपात संजीवनी दे गया है।
