जिला मुख्यालय के साथ लगते तड़ोली के निकट रावी नदी के किनारे एक शव बरामद हुआ है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर शिनाख्त के लिए मैडीकल कॉलेज चम्बा के शवगृह में रखवा दिया है। मामले की जांच चल रही है। आज दोपहर स्थानीय लोग रावी के किनारे कार्य कर रहे थे। इस दौरान उन्होंने पानी में शव को देखा। इसकी जानकारी द्रड्डा चौकी पुलिस को दी। इसके बाद चौकी प्रभारी राकेश कुमार की अगुवाई में पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की गई। पुलिस की प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि शव काफी दिनों तक पानी में पड़ा रहा है। पुलिस ने सभी पड़ोसी राज्यों के पुलिस थानों व चौकियों को सूचित कर दिया गया है। थाना व चौकियों में लापता हुए व्यक्ति के बारे में जानकारी जुटाई  जा रही है, लेकिन अब तक पहचान नहीं हो पाई है। 72 घंटों के बाद भी शव की पहचान नहीं हो पाती है तो पुलिस इस पर अगली कार्रवाई अमल में लाएगी। एस.पी. अरूल कुमार ने मामले की पुष्टि की है। उन्होंने कहा कि शव की शिनाख्त नहीं हो पाई है।

शहर के साथ लगते तड़ोली के निकट रावी नदी के किनारे मिले शव की शिनाख्त हो गई है। शव की पहचान दलीप सिंह (54) पुत्र चतर सिंह निवासी गांव घरमाली सरोल जिला चम्बा के रूप में हुई है। यह व्यक्ति कुछ दिन पहले परेल मंदिर के पास पूजा के लिए गया था, लेकिन घर वापस नहीं लौटा था। शुक्रवार दोपहर को स्थानीय कुछ लोग रावी के किनारे कार्य कर रहे थे। इस दौरान उन्होंने पानी में शव को देखा।
