1971 के युद्ध में भारत की विजय के 50वें स्वर्णिम दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर शिमला में मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित स्वर्णिम विजय दिवस समारोह का हमीरपुर, सुजानपुर और भोरंज में भी सीधा प्रसारण किया गया। समारोह का सीधा प्रसारण एलईडी स्क्रीन के माध्यम से हमीरपुर के बचत भवन, भोरंज के मिनी सचिवालय और सुजानपुर के तहसील परिसर में किया गया।  हमीरपुर के बचत भवन में आयोजित कार्यक्रम एवं प्रसारण के दौरान उपायुक्त देवाश्वेता बनिक, एडीएम जितेंद्र सांजटा, सहायक आयुक्त राजकृष्ण ठाकुर, एसडीएम डॉ. चिरंजी लाल चौहान, सैनिक कल्याण निगम के ओएसडी विक्रम महाजन, सैनिक कल्याण विभाग के उपनिदेशक स्क्वाड्रन लीडर मनोज राणा, जिला राजस्व अधिकारी देवराज भाटिया, जिला खाद्य आपूर्ति नियंत्रक शिव राम राही और अन्य अधिकारियों के अलावा भूतपूर्व सैनिक, उनके परिजन और वीर नारियां भी उपस्थित रहीं।


   इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त देवाश्वेता बनिक ने भूतपूर्व सैनिकों और उनके परिजनों को विजय दिवस की बधाई दी। कार्यक्रम के दौरान कोविड-19 से संबंधित सभी नियमों की अनुपालना सुनिश्चित की गई। इसी प्रकार सुजानपुर और भोरंज में भी विजय दिवस समारोह के प्रसारण के दौरान उपमंडल स्तर के अधिकारियों के अलावा भूतपूर्व सैनिक और उनके परिजन भी उपस्थित रहे।

विजय दिवस के 50 वीं  वर्षगांठ के  उपलक्ष्य में बचत भवन चम्बा में  आयोजित वर्चुअल कार्यक्रम मे जिला के पूर्व सैनिकों व वीर नारियों ने कोविड-19 की गाइड लाइन के अनुसार सीमित संख्या में  भाग लिया | प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री जयराम ठाकुर,  सैनिक कल्याण मंत्री श्री महेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर द्वारा सैन्य  विरासत संग्रहालय शिमला से वर्चुअल कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से संबोधित किया गया  | मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा प्रदेश के पूर्व सैनिकों वह उनके परिवारजनो  कल्याण के लिए चलाई जा रही अनेकों कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के बारे में भी जिक्र किया गया  |


 बचत भवन में भी वर्चुअल कार्यक्रम शुरू होने से पूर्व 1971 के युद्ध में शहीद हुए सैनिकों के सम्मान में 2 मिनट का मौन रखकर श्रद्धांजलि दी गई | इस अवसर पर संयुक्त निदेशक सैनिक कल्याण एवं सहायक आयुक्त चंबा रामप्रसाद जी मौजूद रहे | कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे पूर्व सैनिकों, वीर नारियों का स्वागत करते हुए संयुक्त निदेशक सैनिक कल्याण ने बताया कि 1971 के युद्ध में जिला चंबा के 9 वीर सैनिकों ने शहादत पाई थी, और देश का गौरव बढ़ाया | कृतज्ञ राष्ट्र देश के उन महान सपूतों के सर्वोच्च बलिदान को याद कर उन्हें नमन कर रहा है 
 भारतीय सेना ने अपने अदम्य साहस का परिचय देते हुए पूर्वी पाकिस्तान बांग्लादेश को आजादी दिलाई थी और पाकिस्तान के 91 हजार से अधिक सैनिकों को घुटने टेकने पर मजबूर किया था |
 इस कार्यक्रम के दौरान उपायुक्त कार्यालय के कर्मचारी,  सैनिक कल्याण विभाग  कार्यालय के प्रतिनिधि भी मौजूद रहे |
