जिला के पुलिस थाना किहार के तहत पुलिस को 270 ग्राम चरस समेत तस्कर को गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता मिली है। पुलिस थाना किहार की टीम जब दोपहर करीब सवा एक बजे संघनी के समीप बड़ी दा नाला नामक स्थान पर गश्त पर थी। इस दौरान एक व्यक्ति प्रियुंगल की ओर से आया जिसके पास एक थैला था। आगे पुलिस को देख उक्त व्यक्ति डर गया तथा भागने की कोशिश करने लगा। इस पर पुलिस टीम ने उसे काबू कर शक के आधार पर उसकी तलाशी ली। इस दौरान उसके बैग से 270 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने चरस को कब्जे में लेकर तस्कर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। आरोपी की पहचान सलूणी तहसील के मटूण निवासी 35 वर्षीय जगदीश पुत्र चमारू राम के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस थाना किहार में आरोपी चरस तस्कर के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर पुलिस जांच में जुट गई है।
