8.20 पर लगा भूकम्प का झटका

जिला में आज अभी करीब 8:20 पर भूकंप का झटका महसूस किया गया। कबायली क्षेत्र भरमौर में काफी देर तक कंपन महसूस की जाती रही जिससे कि इसका केंद्र भरमौर में होने का भी अंदेशा है। धर्मशाला में भी भूकम्प का झटका महसूस हुआ। जिला में 8.21,8.27 तथा 10 बजे झटके महसूस हुए।

वही भटियात के उपमंडल मुख्यालय चुवाड़ी में भी भूकंप का झटका ठीक इसी समय दर्ज किया गया। रिक्टर स्केल पर इस भूकंप का पैमाना 4.2 दर्ज किया गया है। हिमाचल प्रदेश के करेरी क्षेत्र के नीचे 10 किलोमीटर गहराई में इसका केंद्र होने की जानकारी मिली है। भरमौर के लोग सहम कर घरों से बाहर निकल आए।

जिले के अन्य कई क्षेत्रों में भी भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए। यह झटका काफी देर होता रहा तो वही भरमौर में इस झटके से दहशत का

माहौल बन गया है। इसके बाद फिर 8.27 पर भूकम्प का दूसरा हल्का झटका भी महसूस किया गया है। 8.20 पर हुए झटके की कम्पन काफी देर रही तथा कबायली क्षेत्र भरमौर में यह झटका काफी देर महसूस किया गया। इसके बाद 10 बजे फिर से भूकम्प का झटका महसूस किया गया। सडीएम भरमौर मनीष सोनी ने भूकम्प की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि क्षेत्र से किसी तरह के नुक्सान की कोई सूचना अब तक नहीं मिली है।
