बारिश – हिमपात से ठंड की चपेट में जिला

    जिला में पहली बारिश तथा हिमपात के साथ लोग ठंड की चपेट में हैं। जिला का पांगी, होली, भरमौर तथा चुराह क्षेत्र की ऊंची चोटियों पर हुई बर्फवारी तथा आसमान पाए छाए बादलों के कारण जिले भर में तापमान का पारा गिर गया है। कबायली क्षेत्रों की ऊंची चोटियों पर हुई बर्फवारी से चल रही ठंडी हवाओं से कबायली लोग कांपने को मजबुर हैं तो निचले क्षेत्रों में पहली बारिश से ही लोग ठंड की चपेट में आ गए हैं। जिला के कबायली क्षेत्र पांगी की ऊपरी चोटियों पर हुए हिमपात से साच पास 6 माह से बन्द हो गया है तो वहीं बर्फ वारी का क्रम जारी रहा तो उपमंडल का चुवाड़ी- जोत – चंबा मार्ग भी बन्द हो सकता है। बताते चलें कि हिमपात के चलते पहाड़ी जीवन तथा खासकर कबायली क्षेत्र के लोगों का जीवन काफी कठिन हो जाता है। खुद के भोजन तथा मवेशियों के लिए चारे का बंदोवस्त करना मुश्किल हो जाता है। यही वजह है कि इन दिनों यह लोग निचले क्षेत्रों जैसे कांगड़ा, कुल्लू तथा शिमला जिले में स्थित अपने घरों को पलायन कर जाते हैं। दुरूह हो जाने वाली जिंदगी के चलते कई लोग जहां बर्फ के सैलाब में हादसों के शिकार होते हैं तो कई गम्भीर बीमार होने पर भी स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं से महरूम रह जाता है। पांगी जिले में इस दर्द को सबसे ज्यादा झेलने वाला कबायली क्षेत्र है। वहीं जनजातीय क्षेत्र भरमौर तथा होली की आधी आबादी आज भी पलायन कर प्रदेश के निचले क्षेत्रों की ओर पलायन करते हैं।
