सुरों की सम्राज्ञी कहें या स्वर कोकिला कहें, लेकिन भारतीय गायन के परिपेक्ष्य में यह उपमाएं पाने वाली लता मंगेशकर ही हैं। लता मंगेशकर ने आज अपने पिता मास्टर दिना नाथ मंगेशकर की 120 वीं जयंती पर भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अपने एफबी पेज के माध्यम से दी। उन्होंने लिखा, “आज हमारे परमपूज्य पिताजी मास्टर दीनानाथ मंगेशकर जी की 120 वी जयंती हैं। हम सब मंगेशकर बाबाके पावन चरणों में कोटी कोटी प्रणाम करते हैं और उनका और माई का आशीर्वाद सदैव बना रहे, ये कामना करते हैं।

बताते चलें कि पण्डित दीनानाथ मंगेशकर’ का जन्म 29 दिसंबर 1900 जबकि उनका देहांत 24 अप्रैल 1942 को हुआ था। वो एक प्रसिद्ध मराठी थिएटर अभिनेता, प्रसिद्ध नाट्य संगीत संगीतकार और हिन्दुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीतज्ञ एवं गायक थे। वे जाने-माने गायकों लता मंगेशकर, आशा भोसले ,मीणा खड़ीकर ,उषा मंगेशकर और संगीतकार हृदयनाथ मंगेशकर के पिता भी थे।
दीनानाथ मंगेशकर की स्मृति में 29 दिसंबर 1993 में डाक टिकट भी जारी किया गया था।

भारतीय गीत संगीत जगत को अनुकरणीय योगदान तथा लता मंगेशकर और आशा भोंसले जैसी विश्वविख्यात गायिकाओं के जनक दीना नाथ मंगेशकर तथा उनकी पत्नी को नमन करता है।
