उपायुक्त देवाश्वेता बनिक नेे स्थानीय नगर परिषद के अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे घरों, दुकानों और संस्थानों से एकत्रीकरण के समय ही गीले तथा सूखे कूड़े की छंटाई सुनिश्चित करें। सोमवार को हमीर भवन में साप्ताहिक समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए उपायुक्त ने कहा कि आरंभिक स्तर पर गीले और सूखे कचरे को अलग करके ही इसका सही निष्पादन किया जा सकता है। इसके लिए नागरिकों को भी जागरूक एवं प्रेरित किया जाना चाहिए।
  उपायुक्त ने नप अधिकारियों से कहा कि वे शहर में या इसके आस-पास के क्षेत्रों विशेषकर जंगलों और नालों में कूड़े के हॉट स्पॉट न बनने दें। अगर कोई व्यक्ति जहां-तहां कूड़ा फेंक रहा है तो उसका चालान करें। देवाश्वेता बनिक ने बस स्टैंड के निकट बनी नई दुकानों के किराये की हर महीने वसूली करने के आदेश भी दिए।  जिला में अवैध खनन के मामलों की समीक्षा करते हुए देवाश्वेता बनिक ने कहा कि पिछले महीने इस तरह के मामलों में 39 चालान किए गए हैं तथा लगभग 14 हजार रुपये की जुर्माना राशि वसूली गई है।  उन्होंने खनन विभाग के अधिकारियों को जिला की सभी नदियों और खड्डों का नियमित रूप से औचक निरीक्षण करने तथा खनन के कारण पुलों एवं अन्य सरकारी संपत्तियों को संभावित नुक्सान का विशेष ध्यान रखने के निर्देश भी दिए।
  जोल सप्पड़ में मेडिकल कालेज परिसर के निर्माण कार्य की समीक्षा करते हुए उपायुक्त ने कहा कि इसके दायरे में आ रहे मिडल स्कूल के लिए नई जगह चिह्नित कर ली गई है। प्रारंभिक शिक्षा उपनिदेशक इसकी हस्तांतरण प्रक्रिया अतिशीघ्र शुरू करें।  उपायुक्त ने खैरी में गौ अभयारण्य और जिला मुख्यालय में पार्किंग का निर्माण कार्य भी जल्द पूरा करने को कहा। उन्होंने बताया कि जलशक्ति विभाग ने जल जीवन मिशन के तहत 12 जनवरी तक सभी सरकारी व निजी शिक्षण संस्थानों और आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में नल लगाने का लक्ष्य तय किया है। सभी संबंधित विभाग दिसंबर में ही इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए तेजी से कार्य करें। बैठक में राजस्व कालोनी और भाषा, कला एवं संस्कृति विभाग के सभागार के लिए जमीन आवंटन के मामलों पर भी चर्चा की गई।
  देवाश्वेता बनिक ने कहा कि सभी विभागीय अधिकारी आम लोगों से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण मामलों के संबंध में उपायुक्त कार्यालय की ओर से जारी दिशा-निर्देशों की अनुपालना सुनिश्चित करें और इन मामलों के संबंध की गई कार्रवाई की जानकारी भी दें। बैठक में एडीएम जितेंद्र सांजटा, एसडीएम डॉ. चिरंजी लाल चौहान और अन्य अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

  जिला में कोरोना के मामलों और इस वैश्विक महामारी से संबंधित आवश्यक प्रबंधों की समीक्षा करते हुए उपायुक्त ने सभी विभागीय अधिकारियों को अपने कार्यालयों तथा फील्ड में विशेष सावधानियां बरतने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से संक्रमण के मामलों में वृद्धि को देखते हुए स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें अधिक से अधिक टैस्टिंग और कांटेक्ट ट्रेसिंग पर विशेष जोर दें। अगर किसी क्षेत्र में कोरोना संक्रमण का नया हॉट स्पॉट बनता है तो वहां इसके वास्तविक कारणों का पता लगाएं और उस क्षेत्र में अधिक से अधिक लोगों के सैंपल लें तथा आम लोगों को कोरोना संबंधी सावधानियों के प्रति जागरूक करें।
