दुकानों, होटल-रेस्तरां और अन्य सभी व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठानों में लोगों की भीड़ तथा इससे कोरोना संक्रमण की आशंका को देखते हुए जिलाधीश देवाश्वेता बनिक ने सभी व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठानों के लिए विशेष आदेश जारी किए हैं।
 आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम-2005 की धारा 33 के तहत आदेश जारी करते हुए देवाश्वेता बनिक ने कहा कि जिला के सभी व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठानों, दुकानों और होटल-रेस्तरां इत्यादि के गेट पर सेनिटाइजर होने चाहिए। इसके अलावा गेट पर ही थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था भी की जा सकती है। जिलाधीश ने कहा कि दुकान के मालिक मास्क के बगैर किसी भी ग्राहक या दुकान के कर्मचारी को अंदर जाने की अनुमति न दें। दुकान या किसी भी तरह के व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठान के अंदर भी ग्राहकों और कर्मचारियों को हर समय मास्क लगाना अनिवार्य होगा।
  जिलाधीश ने कहा कि मालिक और कर्मचारियों को दुकान में ग्राहकों की संख्या और उनके बीच पर्याप्त दूरी का विशेष ध्यान रखना होगा। दुकान की क्षमता एवं जगह के अनुसार ग्राहकों की संख्या सीमित रखनी पड़ेगी। अंदर भीड़ नहीं होनी चाहिए और एक समय में दुकान के भीतर कम से कम ग्राहक होने चाहिए। जिलाधीश ने नगर निकायों के कार्यकारी अधिकारियों को स्वयं या अन्य कर्मचारियों के माध्यम से अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों के व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठानों का नियमित रूप से निरीक्षण करने और रोजाना शाम 5 बजे तक इसकी रिपोर्ट जिला प्रशासन को भेजने के आदेश भी दिए हैं।
  जिलाधीश ने कहा कि सभी एसडीएम, तहसीलदार, पुलिस की टीमें और उडऩ दस्ते भी व्यापारिक प्रतिष्ठानों के औचक निरीक्षण करें और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करें। उन्होंने इन औचक निरीक्षणों की रिपोर्ट भी एसडीएम के माध्यम से जिला प्रशासन को प्रेषित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
   जिलाधीश ने सभी व्यापारियों से इन आदेशों की अक्षरश: अनुपालना करने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि इससे वे स्वयं भी सुरक्षित रहेंगे तथा कोरोना संकट के इस दौर में उनका कारोबार भी प्रभावित नहीं होगा।
