केंद्रीय वित्त एवं कॉरपोरेट मामले राज्य मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने हमीरपुर संसदीय क्षेत्र के 200 विद्यार्थियों को यूपीएससी की प्रतिष्ठित एनडीए और सीडीएस की परीक्षाओं के लिए विशेष कोचिंग की व्यवस्था की है।
  इस संबंध में केंद्रीय मंत्री के कार्यालय से प्राप्त पत्र के अनुसार सैन्य सेवाओं की परीक्षाओं के  प्रसिद्ध कोचिंग संस्थान निंबस अकादमी ने एनडीए और सीडीएस परीक्षा के लिए हमीरपुर संसदीय क्षेत्र के 100-100 मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को स्कॉलरशिप के आधार पर कोचिंग देने को सहमति प्रदान की है। उक्त दोनों परीक्षाओं के 50-50 आवेदकों को 100 प्रतिशत स्कॉलरशिप मिलेगी, जबकि शेष 50-50 विद्यार्थियों को 50 प्रतिशत स्कॉलरशिप का प्रावधान किया गया है।
  हमीरपुर संसदीय क्षेत्र के इच्छुक विद्यार्थी निंबस डिफेंस अकैडमी के वैब पोर्टल पर 9 दिसंबर तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। वैब पोर्टल है :
