नशे के खिलाफ पुलिस द्वारा लगातार कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसी क्रम में शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने नाके के दौरान 2 व्यक्तियों से 320 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद किया। पुलिस ने इन दोनों व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार करके कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। इस बारे में एसपी कार्तिकेयन गोकुलचंद्रन ने पत्रकार वार्ता में बताया कि भोटा के पास जंगल में घट जगह पर पुलिस ने नाका लगाया था। इसी दौरान बड़सर की तरफ से एक इनोवा गाड़ी आई, जिसमें सवार 2 व्यक्ति पुलिस को देखकर घबरा गए और गाड़ी घुमाकर भागने लगे लेकिन पुलिस ने गाड़ी को रोक लिया।
पुलिस ने जब गाड़ी की तलाशी तो सीट के कवर से 320 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद हुआ। पूछताछ के बाद दोनों व्यक्तियों ने अपना नाम शिवम पटियाल और सतीश कुमार बताया। शिवम पटियाल की उम्र 23 साल है। वह डीजे का काम करता है और मोहीं का रहने वाला है जबकि सतीश कुमार (43) ट्रक चालक था और अब सवारियां ढोने का काम करता। वह झांडी का रहने वाला है। इन दोनों व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ पहले भी हमीरपुर पुलिस थाना में मामले दर्ज किए जा चुके हैं। उक्त दोनों नशे की खेप हमीरपुर ला रहे थे व बाद में इसे युवाओं को बेचना था। पकड़े गए चिट्टे की अंतर्राष्टीय मार्कीट में कीमत करीब 25 लाख रुपए बताई जा रही है। हमीरपुर में पिछले 10 साल में पहली बार इतनी बड़ी खेप पुलिस ने पकड़ी है। इससे पहले इतनी बड़ी मात्रा में चिट्टा पुलिस ने बरामद नहीं किया है।
एसपी ने बताया कि हमीरपुर पुलिस थाना में इन दोनों व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ धारा 21 और 29 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। दोनों आरोपियों को शनिवार को कोर्ट में पेश किया जाएगा। एसपी ने बताया कि युवाओं को नशे के दलदल में धकेलने वाले दोनों व्यक्ति बाहर के प्रदेशों से नशे का सामान लाकर यहां पर सप्लाई करते थे। उन्होंने बताया कि इन दोनों से पता लगाया जाएगा कि यह हैरोइन कहां से लाए और किसे बेचते थे। उन्होंने बताया कि इस कारोबार में इनके साथ कौन-कौन लोग जुड़े हैं उनका भी पता लगाया जाएगा।
