पूरी दुनिया में कोहराम मचा रही कोरोना महामारी की वैक्सीन के लिए तमाम कंपनियां अपना पूरा जोर लगा रही है। कई वैक्सीन अब नियामकों से मंजूरी के चरण में पहुंच चुकी है। अमेरिका की फाइजर और मॉडर्ना की वैक्सीन किसी भी वक्त बाजार में आने को तैयार है। हालांकि, कुछ वैक्सीन के साइड इफेक्ट को लेकर विशेषज्ञों में चिंता भी है।
कोविड-19 को लेकर वैक्सीन की तैयारियों के बीच इसकी कीमत को लेकर भी चर्चा हो रही है। मोडर्ना की वैक्सीन की कीमत सबसे ज्यादा होने का अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है। जबकि फाइजर की कीमत 30 डॉलर के आसपास हो सकती है। वहीं, भारत में बन रहे कोविशील्ड वैक्सीन की बाजार में कीमत 600 रुपये तक हो सकती है। केंद्र सरकार ने भी लोगों को वैक्सीन देने की तैयारियां तेज कर दी है। हालांकि सरकार ने बताया है कि कोरोना वैक्सीन सबको नहीं दी जाएगी।
अमेरिकी कंपनी फाइजर ने जर्मनी की बायोएनटेक के साथ मिलकर कोरोना की वैक्‍सीन तैयार की है। यह फेज 3 ट्रायल में 95 प्रतिशत तक असरदार रही। ट्रायल के नतीजों के आधार पर यह अबतक की सबसे असरदार वैक्‍सीन है। हालांकि फाइजर की वैक्‍सीन को शून्‍य से भी कम तापमान (-70 डिग्री सेल्सियस) पर स्‍टोर करना पड़ता है जो इसकी सबसे बड़ी खामी है। वैक्‍सीन की कीमत भी अच्‍छी-खासी होगी। कंपनी ने अमेरिकी सरकार के साथ 19.50 डॉलर में एक डोज के हिसाब से डील की है, ऐसे में खुले बाजार में वैक्‍सीन की कीमत इससे दोगुनी तक हो सकती है। अमेरिकी फार्मा कंपनी Moderna Inc ने बताया है कि उसकी कोरोना वायरस वैक्सीन के लिए सरकारों को एक खुराक की कीमत 25 (1,854) से 37 (2,744) डॉलर देनी होगी। भारत में बन रही कोविशील्ड सरकार को कम कीमत (3 से 4 डॉलर यानी 225-300 रुपये) में मिलेगी क्‍योंकि वह बहुत ज्‍यादा मात्रा में डोज खरीदेगी। लेकिन आम जनता को वैक्‍सीन के लिए 500 से 600 रुपये चुकाने होंगे।
