यहां कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण का एक भी मामला सामने नहीं आया है। यहां अब तक कोरोना संक्रमण का एक भी मामला सामने नहीं आया है। इसी के चलते यहां बिना किसी बंदिश या शर्त सामाजिक तथा पारिवारिक समारोह जारी है। कड़े नियमों के चलते ही यहां यह सब संभव हो पाया है। लक्षद्वीप जाने के लिए कोच्चि में 7 दिन कवारंटीन जरूरी है तथा इसके बिना लक्षद्वीप में जाने की इजाजत नहीं है।
