केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से कहा है कि उन्हें कोविड-19 टीके की पहली खेप जल्दी ही मिल सकती है। इसे प्राप्त करने के लिए वे तैयार रहें।

मंत्रालय ने एक पत्र में कहा कि आपूर्तिकर्ता टीके की आपूर्ति 19 राज्यों एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के केंद्रों पर करेगा। इनमें आंध्र प्रदेश, असम, बिहार, छत्तीसगढ़, दिल्ली, गुजरात, हरियाणा, झारखंड, कर्नाटक, केरल, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, ओडिशा, पंजाब, राजस्थान, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, उत्तर प्रदेश और पश्चिम बंगाल शामिल हैं।
शेष 18 राज्यों एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को टीका उनके संबंधित सरकारी चिकित्सा भंडारण डिपो से मिलेगा। इनमें अंडमान निकोबार द्वीप समूह, अरूणाचल प्रदेश, चंडीगढ, दमन और नागर हवेली, दमन एवं दीव, गोवा, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू कश्मीर, लद्दाख, लक्षद्वीप, मणिपुर, मेघालय, मिजोरम, नगालैंड, पुडुचेरी, सिक्किम, त्रिपुरा और उत्तराखंड शामिल हैं।

भारत में एक दिन में कोविड-19 के 20,346 नए मामले सामने आने के बाद देश में बृहस्पतिवार को संक्रमण के मामले बढ़कर 1,03,95,278 हो गए। वहीं एक करोड़ से अधिक लोग संक्रमण मुक्त भी हो चुके हैं। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार पिछले 24 घंटे में 222 और लोगों की मौत के बाद मृतक संख्या बढ़कर 1,50,336 हो गई। आंकड़ों के अनुसार कुल 1,00,16,859 लोगों के संक्रमण मुक्त होने के साथ ही देश में मरीजों के ठीक होने की दर बढ़कर 96.36 फीसद हो गई। वहीं कोरोना से मृत्यु दर 1.45 फीसद है। देश में लगातार 17 दिनों से कोविड-19 के मामले तीन लाख से कम है। अभी 2,28,083 लोगों का कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण का इलाज चल रहा है, जो कुल मामलों का 2.19 फीसद है।
