करेरी में बर्फ में फंसे 100 सैलानी, किए रेस्क्यू

जिला में धर्मशाला से सटे पर्यटन स्‍थल करेरी में 100 के करीब पर्यटक भारी बर्फबारी के बीच फंस गए। धर्मशाला जिला मुख्‍यालया से क्विक रिएक्‍शन टीम (क्‍यूआरटी) इनके रेस्‍क्‍यू के लिए रवाना हो गई। बताया जा रहा है करेरी में तीन से चार फीट तक बर्फ गिरी है तो वहीं करीब 15 किलोमीटर का पैदल सफर रेस्क्यू को अंजाम के लिए करना होगा। पर्यटकों में विदेशी लोग भी बताए जा रहे हैं। रविवार को मौसम खराब होने पर करेरी के स्थानीय लोगों ने पर्यटकों न जाने की सलाह दी थी, उन्हें रोका था पर वह नहीं माने। वहीं उन्हें गाइड ले जाने की भी सलाह दी थी। रविवार रात को ही हिमपात हो गया अौर तीन से पांच फीट तक बर्फ गिरी है।

कांगड़ा के शाहपुर की करेरी झील में रविवार को हिमपात के चलते बाहरी राज्यों के पर्यटक फंस गए। रविवार रात को मौसम खराब होने व हिमपात के चलते पर्यटक फंसे थे, जिसकी सूचना सोमवार सुबह जिला प्रशासन व पुलिस को मिली। पर्यटकों के करेरी झील में फंसे होने की सूचना मिलने के बाद सोमवार सुबह ही पर्यटकों को रैस्क्यू करने के लिए टीम रवाना कर दी गई। पर्यटकों को सोमवार दोपहर बाद सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया। दोपहर बाद करीब साढ़े 3 बजे सभी पर्यटकों को करेरी गांव पहुंचाया गया। इसके बाद रैस्क्यू टीम व पुलिस सभी पर्यटकों को लेकर जिला मुख्यालय धर्मशाला पहुंच गई है।


करेरी पंचायत के उपप्रधान ने पुलिस व प्रशासन को सूचित किया है। उपप्रधान राहुल ने बताया करेरी झील में करीब 30 लोग अौर उससे थोड़ा पीछे करीब 70 लोगों की बर्फ में फंसने की सूचना हैं। इस बारे में जिला प्रशासन व पुलिस को सूचित किया है। थाना मैक्लोडगंज को सूचित कर दिया गया है। मैक्लोडगंज थाना प्रभारी अजीत कुमार से बात हुई है। वहां से टीम अा रही है।
पंचायत उपप्रधान के नेतृत्व में गांव का बचाव दल रवाना हो गया है। उपप्रधान राहुल ने बताया वह भी रास्ते में हैं अौर लोगों को सुरक्षित निकालने के लिए निकल रहे हैं। युवाओं की एक टोली अलग से रवाना हुई है। दुख इस बात का है कि उन्हें रोका था कि मौसम खराब हो रहा है वह इस तरह अागे न बढ़ें, लेकिन वह नहीं माने अौर अागे बढ़ गए, जब बर्फबारी मे फंस गए तो वहां फंसे युवाओं ने उनसे संपर्क साधा।
थाना मैक्लोडगंज प्रभारी अजीत कुमार ने बताया कि थाने को सूचना मिली है। पंचायत के उपप्रधान राहुल ने सूचना दी है। इस पर यहां से टीम रवाना हो गई है। गांव का बचाव दल भी रवाना हो रहा है, इसके साथ टीम में कुछ पर्वतारोही भी जा रहे हैं।
