पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री शांता कुमार को उपचार के लिए आज चंडीगढ़ शिफ्ट कर दिया गया। बताते चलें कि शांता कुमार कोरोना पॉजिटिव हैं और उन्हें बुखार आने के साथ हल्की घबराहट होने की शिकायत के बाद चंडीगढ़ के फोर्टिस अस्पताल में भेजा गया है। शांता कुमार के साथ उनके बेटे विक्रम शर्मा को भी चंडीगढ़ शिफ्ट कर दिया गया है। बता दें कि दोनों को एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से फोर्टिस अस्पताल ले जाया गया है। बताया जा रहा कि शांता कुमार ने उपचार के लिए फोर्टिस अस्पताल चंडीगढ़ जाने की इच्छा व्यक्त की थी जिसके बाद उनकी स्थानीय स्तर पर स्वास्थ्य जांच की गई। शांता कुमार और विक्रम शर्मा के साथ विवेकानंद मेडिकल इंस्टिट्यूट की स्वास्थ्य टीम भी रवाना हुई है। गौरतलब है कि शांता कुमार की धर्मपत्नी संतोष शैलजा भी कोविड-19 पॉजिटिव थी और मंगलवार सुबह उनका देहांत हो गया था। मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉक्टर गुरदर्शन गुप्ता ने बताया कि शांता कुमार ने स्वेच्छा से चंडीगढ़ उपचार के लिए जाने की बात कही जिसके पश्चात उन्हें चंडीगढ़ भेज दिया गया है।
