आग से जला आशियाना, 9 मवेशी जिंदा जले

चौहार घाटी की धमच्याण पंचायत के चेलिंग गांव में शनिवार प्रात: आगे लगने से मुरारी लाल पुत्र सिधू राम का दोमंजिला रिहायशी मकान जलकर राख हो गया। मकान के नीचे वाली मंजिल के एक कमरे में बंधे 2 बैल, एक दुधारू जर्सी की गाय, एक छोटी बछड़ी तथा 5 भेड़ें भी आग की चपेट में आने से मर गईं। इस कारण उसका लगभग 8 लाख रुपए का नुक्सान हुआ है। आग लगने की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय लोगों सहित आसपास के गांवों के लोग भी आग बुझाने में जुट गए लेकिन आग ने इतना भयंकर रूप धारण कर लिया था कि लोग उस मकान को बचाने में नाकाम रहे। इस दौरान आसपास के मकानों को जलने से बचा लिया गया।
धमच्याण पंचायत के प्रधान रोशन लाल तथा पूर्व प्रधान मगल सिंह ने बताया कि इसकी सूचना उन्होंने उपतहसीलदार टिक्कन को दे दी है। सूचना मिलते ही राजस्व विभाग की ओर से स्थानीय पटवार सर्कल के पटवारी नागेश्वर सिंह ने मौके पर आकर नुक्सान का जायजा लिया। उपतहसील टिक्कन के नायब तहसीलदार ओंकार चंद ने बताया कि पीड़ित मुरारी लाल का लगभग 8 लाख रुपए का नुक्सान हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजस्व विभाग की ओर से पीड़ित को 10 हजार रुपए की फौरी राहत दे दी गई है।
