आग ने छीना आशियाना, 60 लाख का नुक्सान

कोटखाई के देवरी-खनेटी क्षेत्र के तहत डाहर गांव में किशोरी लाल और मोहन लाल 2 भाइयों के रिहायशी मकान में शुक्रवार सुबह 10.15 बजे के करीब अचानक आग लग गई। घर के सभी सदस्य पास ही अपने सेब के बगीचे में बागवानी से संबंधित कार्य करने में व्यस्त थे। एकाएक परिवार के सदस्य ने घर से धुआं निकलते हुए देखा। देखते ही देखते पूरा घर आग की लपटों से घिर गया। उक्त व्यक्ति ने आसपास के घरों में लोगों को सूचित किया। आग की भनक लगते ही आसपास से गांवों के लोग भी इकट्ठे हो गए और पावर स्प्रेयर के माध्यम से आग पर काबू पाने का कार्य शुरू किया गया।
सूचना मिलने पर अग्निशमन केंद्र की गाड़ी भी समय रहते घटनास्थल तक पहुंच गई थी। स्थानीय लोगों व अग्निशमन दल द्वारा घंटों की गई कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पा लिया गया और आसपास के घरों को आग के रौद्र रूप से बचा लिया गया। आग से किशोरी लाल के लकड़ी से बने 8 कमरे, एक रसोईघर और मोहन लाल के 4 कमरे और एक रसोईघर राख में तबदील हो गया। आग का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है।
इस घटना में घर के अंदर रखा सारा सामान, फर्नीचर, खाद्य सामग्री, सोने के जेवरात व नकदी जलकर राख हो गई। आग से 60 लाख रुपए के करीब नुक्सान आंका गया है। गनीमत रही कि किसी व्यक्ति व मवेशी का कोई जानी नुक्सान नहीं हुआ है। कोटखाई पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। उधर, तहसीलदार कोटखाई ने मौके पर पहुंचकर प्रभावितों को फौरी राहत के तौर पर 10-10 हजार रुपए, कंबल, तिरपाल व खाद्य सामग्री आबंटित कर दी है।
