राजधानी शिमला के साथ लगते घणाहट्टी क्षेत्र में एक कार के गहरी खाई में गिरने से एक युवा होटल कारोबारी अंकित (34) की मौत हो गई। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार हादसा रविवार देर रात बिलासपुर-शिमला हाईवे पर चायली नामक स्थान पर हुआ। पुलिस को दुर्घटना की सूचना सोमवार सुबह मिली। इसके बाद पुलिस के जवान राहत कार्य में जुटे और शव को खाई से निकाला गया। पुलिस के मुताबिक रविवार की रात अंकित अपनी कार से शिमला लौट रहा था कि चायली में कार सड़क से फिसलकर 500 मीटर गहरी खाई में लुढ़क गई। अंकित कार्ट रोड स्थित होटल का मालिक था। वह ओल्ड बस स्टैंड के निकट पंचायत भवन के पास परिवार सहित रहता था। एस.पी. शिमला मोहित चावला ने बताया कि शव को पोस्टमार्टम के उपरांत परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है, वहीं मामला दर्ज कर हादसे के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है।
