प्रदेश में छह महीने के शिशु समेत तीन और कोरोना पॉजिटिव मरीजों की मौत हो गई है। टांडा मेडिकल कॉलेज में गुरुवार को बैजनाथ क्षेत्र के 76 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग और बेहरा अंब की 60 वर्षीय संक्रमित महिला ने दम तोड़ दिया। इंदिरा गांधी मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल (आईजीएमसी) में छह महीने के शिशु की कोरोना से मौत हो गई है।  वहीं बच्चे की मां भी पॉजिटिव है। जानकारी के अनुसार मृतक शिशु को किन्नौर से इलाज के लिए आईजीएमसी लाया गया था। बच्चे के दिल में छेद था और इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। जब बच्चे का कोरोना टेस्ट किया गया तो उसकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई। आईजीएमसी के कॉलेज प्राचार्य डॉ. रजनीश पठानिया ने कोरोना पॉजिटिव मरीज की मौत की पुष्टि की है।
वहीं गुरुवार को प्रदेश में कोरोना वायरस के 309 नए मामले आए हैं। मंडी 100, कांगड़ा 45, सोलन 46, हमीरपुर 29, चंबा 26, शिमला 19, ऊना 18, सिरमौर 9,  कुल्लू 9, लाहौल-स्पीति 6, और किन्नौर में 2 नए केस आए हैं। इसके साथ ही प्रदेश में संक्रमितों का कुल आंकड़ा 53766 पहुंच गया है। 4681 सक्रिय मामले हैं। अब तक 48151 मरीज ठीक हो चुके हैं। 887 संक्रमितों की मौत हो चुकी है। मंडी जिले में दो बच्चों समेत कोरोना संक्रमण के 100 नए मामले आए हैं। जोगिंद्रनगर, सरकाघाट और करसोग उपमंडल एक बार फिर कोरोना हॉट स्पॉट बन गए हैं।
