शिमला हाईवे पर सोमवार को दर्दनाक हादसा सामने आया है। यहां एक ट्रक ने बाइक को टक्कर मार दी। जिसके बाद बाइक पर सवार युवती की मौत हो गई जबकि युवक घायल हो गया है, वहीं हादसे के बाद चालक ट्रक सहित मौके से फरार हो गया है।
ए.एस.पी. बबीता राणा ने बताया कि एन.एच. शिमला पर आई.टी.आई. के समीप एक ट्रक ने बाइक को टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में बाइक पर सवार मुनीष पुत्र संजय निवासी कोटला मोलर व शेफाली पुत्री जाकीर अली निवासी गुन्नूघाट नाहन घायल हो गए। जिन्हें तुरंत गंभीर हालत में मैडीकल कालेज नाहन लाया गया। जहां चिकित्सकों ने शेफाली (18) को मृत घोषित कर दिया। हादसे के बाद चालक ट्रक सहित मौके से फरार हो गया है। ए.एस.पी. बबीता राणा ने बताया कि पुलिस ने ट्रक चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
