पांवटा साहिब के तारूवाला में पुलिस टीम ने एक व्यक्ति को 200 ग्राम चरस के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि शिलाई से एक व्यक्ति पांवटा साहिब के लिए चरस लेकर आ रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने तारूवाला स्कूल के पास नाका लगाया तो सामने से चमेल सिंह निवासी मठियाना शिलाई आया। पुलिस ने व्यक्ति को रोककर तलाशी ली तो उसके कब्जे से 200 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने आरोपी को चरस के साथ हिरासत में लेकर मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। पांवटा साहिब के डीएसपी वीर बहादुर ने बताया कि पुलिस ने एक व्यक्ति को चरस के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

उधर जिला कुल्लू में बंजार पुलिस ने एक व्यक्ति को 225 ग्राम चरस के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार शनिवार को बंजार पुलिस ने पाहली के पास नाका लगाया हुआ था। इसी दौरान एक ट्रक गुशैणी की ओर से बंजार की तरफ आया तो पुलिस ने ट्रक चालक को ट्रक रोकने का इशारा किया और चालक को गाड़ी के कागजात दिखाने को कहा। पुलिस को देख ट्रक चालक घबरा गया, जिससे पुलिस को उस पर शक हुआ और उसकी तलाशी ली गई।
तलाशी के दौरान चालक की सीट के नीचे से 225 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। इस पर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर उसके खिलाफ धारा 20, 25 एनडीपीएस. एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। आरोपी की पहचान सुनील कुमार (36) पुत्र जसपाल सिंह वार्ड नंबर-5 राजपूत मोहल्ला मैहतपुर जिला ऊना के रूप में हुई है। डीएसपी बंजार बिन्नी मिन्हास ने मामले की पुष्टि की है।
