पहाड़ों की भूमि हिमाचल में सर्दी का कहर जारी है तो इस बीच समर्पित युवा पुलिस अधिकारी की ठंड के बीच जनता को बेहतर सेवाएं देने की गरज से सर्दिकल स्ट्राइक बंक मारने और सोने वाले पुलिस कर्मचारियों पर भारी पड़ी।

जिला में पुलिस अधीक्षक रोहित मालपानी ने सादी वर्दी में जाकर बरोटीवाला व बद्दी थाना में औचक निरिक्षण किया। इस दौरान बरोटीवाला में पांच पुलिसकर्मी ड्यूटी से गैरहाजिर पाए गए वहीं कुछ सोए हुए भी पाए गए। गत देर रात
इस दौरान पुलिस अधीक्षक द्वारा मौके पर कार्रवाई करते हुए 7 कर्मचारियों को सस्पेंड किया गया। इसमें दो होमगार्ड भी शामिल है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस अधीक्षक ने रविवार रात करीब 1:00 बजे बरोटीवाला व बद्दी थाना में औचक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान पाया गया कि कुछ कर्मचारी ड्यूटी से गायब थे। हालांकि इस मामले की पूरी तरह से पुष्टि नहीं हो पाई है लेकिन बताया जा रहा है कि पुलिस अधीक्षक ने एसपी स्तर पर इस की सूचना जारी कर दी गई है। देखा जाए तो इन दिनों ठंड के मौसम होने के कारण अक्सर पुलिस थानों से रात के समय ड्यूटी देने वाले कर्मचारी बंक मारते है।
