औद्योगिक कस्बे नालागढ़ के तहत किला प्लसी में खैर के पेड़ के अवैध कटान का मामला सामने आया है। वन विभाग के कर्मियों को जब सूचना मिली तो नाके के दौरान वन काटू अपनी गाड़ी में बैठ तेजी से 1 कर्मी की गाड़ी को टक्कर मारते हुए मौके से फरार हो गए। वही सूचना के आधार पर वन कर्मियों ने कटे हुए 6 पेड़ों के 16 पीस एक आरा मशीन के पास से बरामद कर लिए हैं। वही नालागढ़ पुलिस ने वन खंड अधिकारी की शिकायत पर वन अधिनियम की धारा 41, 42 व धारा 379 के तहत चोरी का केस दर्ज कर कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

मामले की पुष्टि करते हुए डीएफओ नालागढ़ यशु दीप सिंह ने बताया कि वन खंड अधिकारी सैनी माजरा सोमनाथ जब अपनी टीम के साथ चेकिंग पर थे, तो उन्होंने किला प्लासी में लकड़ी काटने की आवाज सुनी। जब वह वहां पर पहुंचे तो मौके पर खैर के पेड़ के कुछ स्लीपर पड़े थे तथा लकड़ी काटने वाले लोग वहां से गाड़ी में बैठ कर उनकी गाड़ी को टक्कर मारते हुए वहां से भाग गए। उसके बाद वन काटूओ का वन खंड अधिकारी ने काफी दूर तक पीछा किया, लेकिन वह फरार हो गए। इस दौरान जब बड़ा बसोट में एक आरा मशीन के पास पहुंचे तो उन्हें वहां कटे हुए खैर के 16 पीस बरामद हुए और उनके द्वारा पुलिस को इसकी सूचना दे दी गई है और जल्द ही आरोपी पुलिस की गिरफ्त में होंगे।
