साहूकार की कुटिलता पर भारी पड़ा चातुर्य

परिस्थितियां कभी जीवन में एक जैसी नहीं रहती, जीवन में भंवर में उतार चढ़ाव तो आते ही रहते हैं| आपकी सोच बताती है कि आप कठिन परिस्थितियों का कैसे सामना करते हैं? क्या आपके अंदर वो काबिलियत है जो हर परिस्थिति से आपको बाहर निकाल दे?

एक कहानी यूँ है कि पुराने समय में एक व्यापारी ने किसी धनी साहूकार से पैसा उधार ब्याज पर लिया था लेकिन व्यापार में नुकसान हो जाने की वजह से वह साहूकार का पैसा लौटा नहीं पा रहा था|

व्यापारी की एक बेहद सुन्दर बेटी थी|

साहूकार बड़ा कुटिल था उसने सोचा कि व्यापारी पैसा तो वापस कर नहीं पा रहा है तो क्यों ना इसकी परिस्थिति का फायदा उठाया जाए| उसने व्यापारी को एक सुझाव दिया कि अगर वह अपनी बेटी की शादी उस साहूकार से कर दे तो वह व्यापारी का सारा कर्ज माफ़ कर देगा|

व्यापारी बेचारा मरता क्या ना करता| उसने अपनी बेटी को सारी बात बताई| समस्या बड़ी थी, साहूकार अधेड़ उम्र का कुरूप व्यक्ति था| अब उस बेटी के आगे 2 ही रास्ते थे –

पहला, या तो साहूकार से विवाह करने से इंकार कर दे और अपने पिता को कर्ज में दबा रहने दे
दूसरा, साहूकार से ख़ुशी से विवाह कर ले ताकि उसका पिता स्वतंत्रता से रह सके

मित्रों, अक्सर हमारे जीवन में भी ऐसे मोड़ आते हैं जब हमें यकीन होने लगता है कि अब कोई रास्ता नहीं बचा है और अब हम बुरी तरह फंस चुके हैं| अख़बारों में सुनने में आता है कि लोग आत्महत्या तक कर लेते हैं, लेकिन अपने दिमाग को पानी की तरह रखिये, एकदम निर्मल, शांत और चलायमान| पानी को देखा है? पानी हर जगह से अपना रास्ता निकाल ही लेता है| ठीक वैसे ही बन जाओ|

लड़की ने साहूकार के आगे एक शर्त रखी कि साहूकार एक थैला लाये और उसमें दो गोलियां डाले, एक सफ़ेद रंग की तथा दूसरी काले रंग की| इसके बाद लड़की उस थैले से आँख बंद करके कोई एक गोली निकालेगी|

  • गोली अगर काली निकली तो लड़की साहूकार से विवाह कर लेगी और उसके पिता का कर्ज माफ़ कर दिया जायेगा

साथ ही, अगर गोली सफ़ेद निकली तो भी पिता कर कर्ज माफ़ किया जायेगा लेकिन लड़की साहूकार से विवाह नहीं करेगी

साहूकार तुरंत बात मान गया और जल्द ही एक थैला लेकर आ गया| अब वह जब थैले में गोलियां डाल रहा था तो लड़की ने देखा कि साहूकार ने चालाकी से दोनों गोली काली ही थैली में डाल दीं हैं|

अब लड़की परेशान हो गयी कि अब वह करे तो क्या करे, साहूकार का भांडा फोड़ भी दे तो भी वह दूसरी किसी चाल में उनको जरूर फंसाएगा|

लड़की कुछ सोचकर आगे बढ़ी और उसने थैले से एक गोली निकाली| और गोली बाहर निकालते ही, उसे हाथ से छिटका दी, जिससे गोली नाली में जा गिरी|

लड़की बोली – माफ़ करना, गोली मेरे हाथ से छिटक गयी लेकिन चिंता की कोई बात नहीं, थैले में अभी दूसरी गोली भी तो होगी उसे देख लेते हैं| अगर गोली काली निकली तो मैंने सफ़ेद गोली उठायी होगी और थैले में गोली सफ़ेद निकली तो मैंने काली गोली उठाई होगी|

व्यापारी ने थैले में हाथ डाला तो देखा, काली गोली निकली|

व्यापारी बोला – अहा, बेटी थैले में काली गोली बची है इसका मतलब तुमने सफ़ेद गोली चुनी थी|

साहूकार बेचारा बोलता भी क्या? अगर बोलता तो चोरी पकड़ी जाती| इस प्रकार पिता का कर्ज भी माफ़ हो गया और बेटी ने अपनी रक्षा भी कर ली|
