अम्ब में स्थित होटल सिटी हर्ट में एक चोर होटल मालिक का हजारों का चूना लगाकर रफूचक्कर हो गया। उसने बड़े ही सुनियोजित ढंग से होटल के 5 कमरे बुक किए और वह देर रात को सभी कमरों में लगी एलसीडी (टीवी) उतारकर होटल से निकल गया। यह घटना अम्ब-ऊना रोड पड़ते होटल सिटी हर्ट में हुई है। होटल के मालिक अशोक शर्मा का कहना है कि बुधवार सायं एक व्यक्ति होटल की रिसैप्शन पर आया और उसने अपने लिए एक कमरा बुक किया और कहा कि देर रात को एक कम्पनी के लोग आएंगे और इस होटल में रुकेंगे। इसलिए उनके लिए भी 4 कमरे बुक कर दें। उसने होटल की रिसैप्शन पर बैठे मालिक को भरोसे में लिया कि वे लोग 2-3 दिन तक होटल में ही रुकेंगे और देर रात को आएंगे। इसलिए आप कमरों की चाबियां दरवाजों के साथ लगा दें। होटल कर्मचारियों ने बाहर से आने वाले लोगों की आवभगत के लिए सभी कमरे तैयार कर दिए और बाकायदा सभी कमरों में पानी की बोतलें आदि भी रख दीं लेकिन देर रात तक रिसैप्शन पर कोई बाहर से नहीं आया।

वीरवार दोपहर तक जब उक्त व्यक्ति नीचे रिसैप्शन पर नहीं आया और न ही उसने चाय आदि को फोन किया तो होटल प्रबंधन को शक हुआ कि कमरे में बंद उसके साथ कोई अप्रिय घटना न घट गई हो। इस बीच होटल प्रबंधन ने जब डुप्लीकेट चाबी से कमरा खोला तो अंदर कोई नहीं था। इस दौरान कमरे से एलसीडी भी गायब पाई गई। इस बीच होटल मालिक का माथा ठनका और उसने जब दूसरों कमरों की तरफ ध्यान दिया तो चाबियां दरवाजों पर नहीं थीं। होटल कर्मचारियों ने तुरंत सभी कमरों को खोलकर देखा तो उनके होश उड़ गए। सभी कमरों से एलसीडी गायब पाए गए। इस घटना के बाद खंगाली गई सीसीटीवी फुटेज में पाया गया कि देर रात करीब 3 बजे उक्त शातिर चेहरे पर मास्क लगाकर हाथ साफ करने में जुटा हुआ था और कुछ देर बाद पांचों कमरों से एलसीडी उतार कर और सामान को 2 थैलों में भरकर होटल से निकल रही एक गली से होता हुआ चला गया।

होटल मालिक का कहना है कि वह शातिर था क्योंकि वह जब होटल में आया था तो मास्क नहीं पहना था लेकिन घटनाक्रम के बाद सीसीटीवी फुटेज में वह मास्क पहने नजर आ रहा है। उसने कमरा लेते वक्त वाकायदा अपना नाम पता दिल्ली निवासी बताया था और आधार कार्ड भी दिया था लेकिन जो आपराधिक घटना को अंजाम देने के उद्देश्य से रुका था। हो सकता है कि उसने आधार कार्ड अपना न देकर किसी अन्य का ही दे दिया हो। होटल मालिक का कहना है कि इस संबंध में पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई जाएगी।
